Alternator Install Torque Specs

Alternator Install Torque Specs
I'm a bit **** when doing these things and want to make sure everything is as tight as specified by the factory.
According to the work shop manual the bolts that hold the alternator are tightened to 34 ft lbs. They are called head bolts, but just wanted to verify with someone that has already done this as the manual is not very clear on all things.
The deflection roller or pulley under the alternator is tightened to 34 ft lbs per the alternator install instructions, but on another page in the manual it shows 17 ft lbs, which is correct?
Are there any torque specs for the y pipe screws?
Thanks for the help.

This is a picture from Renntech he's using a block and getting some leverage on the wrench worked great for me also a ratcheting closed end wrench makes it a lot quicker to get the bolt out.Attachment 1045005
