Default AiM MXS Analog Input Voltage

I am looking to wire my turn signals to the MXS so that LED1 lights up with the left signal and LED5 lights up with the right. I know that the analog inputs expect 0-5V. Can the inputs take a 12v signal without harming the unit? I understand that it may only "register" as 5V, but that is fine for my application. I know I could build a voltage divider... but if the unit doesn't mind the 12V, then no need to build one...

Thanks...

The 12v will work. There is question (and I haven't had time to work with it) if it will read the 6-12v correctly, but you can do the 12v in and a binary (on/off) without problem. This works for warning lights from your OEM dash as well (think low fuel, etc).
