Can CT2 consolidate different session laps to one session?

Can CT2 consolidate different session laps to one session?
From what I can tell, for AX, using a VBOX, each run is a 'session' as the recording stops between each run (assuming it is set up this way to permit data review between runs).
When loading the data files into CT2, each run then appears as a separate session. One can thus not see all the runs at once and has to keep tabbing over to different sessions.
Is there any way to consolidate this data or otherwise manage the logging process to avoid this issue (other than manually concatenating the data from one file to anothers)?
I imagine the same issue exists for point to point races.
(I have been playing with HLT VBO exports in considering this issue - that may perhaps add issues in and of itself).
