Default MXL2 + SmartyHD + Smarty?

Have MXL2 and HD working in car, for new PCA rules want to piggyback a old Smartycam for rear facing. Is that possible? Can you just daisy chain the two cameras together?

Read 4 pages of search and didnt see anything

Yes you can. Just plug it into the data hub and you're all set.

I would install tracks from GPS Manager, day and date and set the start/stop strategies.

Meaning you wouldn't hook it to the mxl2?

I'd also like to get another camera to look at my feet - obviously that one needs to align with Mxl data (tps and rpm most ideally)

Yes, connect to MXL through the Data Hub, load the tracks to the camera for maps on the video.

It will work fine with the MXL2. The cameras will grab the data from the CANbus and display it however you want.

If it was me, I would just put the time with seconds, lap time, and date on the second video. That will help you with combining them in RaceRender (or whatever you do the picture in picture with) and not take up real estate on the small video.

Are there any good 360 degree roof mount cameras to serve for this purpose?

I use a V.360 on the roll bar inside, but this tech is evolving very quickly now. I see VLC Player just added 360 degree camera support.

Yes is see that, was hoping for something roof mounted that does not need to be on a bracket too high. It would take care of any blind spot contact issues
