Math channel expression and worksheet using it.

As for the color map, I was thinking CT but sounds like RS is the place to do it. I'll take a look at it.

CT can't do it. RSA can do it just like the i2 Pro I posted.

Harry's is awesome. It took me a while to stop missing all of its functionality. But being able to pull up my fastest 6 laps for a particular sector from any day on the track and have synchronized video with speed, GSum, lat acel, delta, distance and elevation is just way too cool. It's allowed me to start understanding my laps at a whole new level.

Here's a quick video for people who use AiM Race Studio 2 and want to use colored GPS maps. I don't have a mic at home, so there is no audio, but you can follow the curser movements.

Go into measure properties and set the top tier (red) as anything above 1.4 g gSum.
Then, make sure the red zones are consistent and work to prevent dips or gaps below that measure in entire braking zones, near the end of braking zones and between the end of braking zone and max lateral cornering load.

Not necessarily. Your plot looks pretty good, but there is room for improvement.
Go into measure properties and set the top tier (red) as anything above 1.4 g gSum.

Here is a new printscreen
Looks better if i understand it right i need to work on my braking before turn 5 and keep the speed up in some corners

A big thank you to Peter and Matt! I have this set up in i2 pro and it works great. A visual representation of what the data was telling me.
Now I just need to figure out how to do this in Aim.

I make a video later, but it's the same idea on the math channel and then a use the gps map with the gsum channel to color it.

It's easier (less steps) in AiM than in MoTeC, but even Traqmate offers colored maps, albeit with limited measures.
I think this an extremely effective visualization of what is happening, where, when and how much. What is shocking is the variance between laps for a lot of folks. Be sure not to just look at the default (fastest) lap, but scroll through the top three or five in the session.
I use this display mode for TPS, BPS, steering, longG, latG and maths like gSum or full throttle time.
This should be an integral part of supplying information that can allow drivers to determine, ON THEIR OWN or WITH A COACH, where their deficits lie and what they need to develop a highly targeted and incremental plan to do better..
