I can't believe how many cars which I have scratched up so bad. Good thing for this forum.

I did Paint Correction and put Opticoat on my 2011 BMW 335 which I have decided to keep long term so I am learning how to be cautious with that.

I have not yet applied any protection to my 2016 911 GTS since I don't know how long I want to keep it, but I sure want to take good care of it.

Quick tip: If you park your car outside and expecting snow or ice lift up the wiper arms the night before it makes cleaning the windshield easier and without possible damage of the wipers.

I always forget to do that. Although I see many cars in the parking lots do it.

BTW is there a better wiper blade for the Porsche to handle the winters when Replacement needed or just stick with OEM?

I'm not sure as I don't drive mine during the Winter time. I don't change wipers on my other vehicles, or company vehicles. The only thing I've seen is that a Winter wiper is enclosed in a rubber boot cover, probably keeps the wiper hinges free from ice and working to clean the windshield without streaking.

Sticking with OEM should be fine, just watch the sharp blade edge of your snow brush when cleaning not to damage the wiper rubber edge when its stuck to the windshield. Its what I've done, learning by mistakes

I found these at Costco. They're good for spraying your windshield and mirrors & wipers if they're iced up. Worth it.

In regards to those products you show above, do you keep them in the vehicle at or below freezing temperatures without incident?

Yes, no problem. I've had one in my cup holder of my Toyota Tacoma truck for the last 2 months. Great for helping out with freezing rain, ice build up. Helps to get me going quickly so I can see out of my windshield. I spray my wing mirrors with this too as they are not heated mirrors.
