I think you can do much better...
Find a trusted local detailer who specializes in paint correction and ceramic coatings. Have them correct any issues prior to coating the vehicle--unlike what the dealer will do-- and be satisfied from the get go!
I also think you will be in the ballpark price wise for a much more thorough job and better products.

Don't do it Gary. Talk to your clear bra guy first. Don't let the dealership touch the car. Paint correction is always needed, if you want it as perfect as possible.

Yes I am on the coast but hopefully I can pay Extreme Colors a visit before 1/20 when the 991 is due at the dealership. Their credentials are impressive - "Extreme Colors is the official paint protection film installer for BMW Manufacturing Performance Center". "Our installer was trained and certified by 3M™ in 2005."
