Interior Car Care Tip
The average car interior is teeming with dirt, grime, and germs. Meguiar’s, the car care experts since 1901, advise consumers to thoroughly clean the interior of their cars, especially since germs can gather in some of the least-likely places. A good scrub-down every few weeks ensures that car owners are traveling in a clean environment. The following locations deserve some extra attention, as they’re known for being the most commonly dirty places inside the average car:

Seats - Kids can be the biggest culprits when it comes to a dirty car, which is why car seats and surrounding areas take the biggest hit. To clean cloth seats, simply vacuum and use upholstery cleaner. For vinyl or leather seats, first vacuum then clean, condition, and protect with the appropriate product for your specific seat material. To complete the interior transformation, follow this cleansing process with Meguiar’s Odor Eliminator to instantly remove any foul odors.

Glass – Whether its dust, greasy hand prints or pet slobber, windows can accumulate a lot of unnecessary dirt filth that can be easily cleaned. To get rid of the dirt, simply spray on a glass cleaner, such as Meguiar’s Perfect Clarity® Glass Cleaner which is safe on tinted windows, and dry off with a microfiber towel to help avoid streaks.

Default Algodones Dunes

My favorite place to take my Targa is the Algodones Dunes. There I can take my car out of its element and experience it in a whole new way. The excursion also makes for some great pictures.

Every year in July/August I look forward to driving my 996 Turbo up to Watkins Glen NY to attend an HPDE. Beautiful country up there.

Mulholland Drive corkscrew on a sunny Sunday, with no Smokey in sight.

Like to go to Hog Back mountain in the Turbo S in Vermont. Great ride going West on Rt 101 and the Rt 9. Just over the mountain a perfect little restaurant spot on the side of the road for a burger.

Ocean Ave in Newport RI, it's not a road I can go fast on, but the views and homes are spectacular.

From Victoria, BC, ferry over to Port Angeles, then hug the west coast down to Cannon Beach, OR. Beautiful drive!

Pacific Coast Highway south from Encinitas all the way down to Pacific Beach!

Here's part of that cruise, going the other way:

Valle de Bravo, Mexico. The drive has some nice twist and turns and the highway is new. The drive has beautiful scenery from on the way from Mexico City through the forrest and mountains.
