My favorite Saturday ride is to La Quinta via Lake Arrowhead. We start off in Huntington Beach with breakfast then take the twisty mountain road to Arrowhead. Have lunch and goof off in the snow if winter time. Then more twisty roads through Big Bear Lake and down the backside of Big Bear for some long stretches through the desert to La Quinta.
And then haul buns home Monday at 3 am to beat the traffic and get to work.
