duh. i thought it has one... Is there an intake somewhere it suck the outside air into?

Full size Metro Master Blaster does indeed have a filter on the intake side of the device. Will post pics when I can!

Big, you're probably right. Sorry if I gave MinMay bad direction. But, to me that filter is more about protecting the 8HP motor (as not to ingest something from the air) than it is to actually provide filtered air. I'll have to inspect my filter someday and see how dirty it is. Thanks for the correction.

^^^That's the one Lex! No biggie, just wanted to make sure everyone new it does have a filter.

I will also go out on a limb and say that it's mostly to filter the incoming air to the machine...I clean my filter monthly, and not that I work in a pigsty, but it does trap a lot of junk!
