Best wax/sealant to combat acid rain?
Every time it rains my clear coat gets etched, especially if the sun comes out after it rains. The etched spots do not wash off. I have to use paint cleaner or polish to remove them.
I am looking for some suggestions for a sealant or wax that will protect the paint better that what I am using now (2 coats of Rejex). I do not have access to covered parking or shade trees during the day while at work.
Thanks.

Opti-coat might be the trick. I use Opti-seal as a sealant and then top with a good wax. Not having any issues but I believe Opti-coat is more durable than Opti-seal which is just a sealant.

I was thinking along the same path as Rob to suggest a coating of some sort like Opti Coat or CQuartz.
Where do you live that you're experiencing acid rain?

CarPro Hydr02 is a good idea. Due to the application method (high pressure water) it gets into every nook and cranny (just like that acid rain does). Top Hydr02 with two coats of Collinite 915 or 845 + 915. If acid rain ate through that, you should call the EPA. Plus, the Collinite 915 will look great on your dark car.
