Can anyone point me to a self-serve car wash that I can use this winter? Preferrably Northern Virginia. Tried searching previous posts and didn't find anything...

Can't think of anything in NOVA but there is a good one in Rockville. It's a block over from Rockville Pike kinda-sorta behind the Barnes & Noble.

In case anyone is interested, I found an okay self-service at a gas station in 7 Corners/Falls Church adjacent to Eden Center. $5 for about 10 minutes. Beats using and re-winterizing outside faucet at home.

However, I also have used Optimum NR twice now and like the results - thanks for the suggestion.

Not sure how far your willing to drive, but there is a DIY spray and wash in Sterling just off of Rt 28. Corner of Sterling Blvd and Davis Drive. I can't vouch for its performance/value but they're always busy. I don't have to utilize it as I have an indoor hose bib at my office/shop which is directly right across the street. If you ever do make it out this way, fell free to come by and "hose off" at my place!

Thanks for the offer Darryl. I just had my VentureShield installed today (at Lansdowne essentially), so I'm unable to do a wash for a couple weeks. However, next time am in your neighborhood, will drop by to say hello.
