All,

I'm an out-of-town buyer for a 2007 Cayman S and I'm looking to get a PPI done close to where the seller lives. I've seen your other recommendations and will go there if the owner is willing to drive that far. Anything closer to Batavia?

Where was the car currently maintained and serviced?

Closest would be Napelton Porsche in Westmont. Two area indys would be Eurosport in Bensonvile or Fischer Motors in Barrington.

Talk to Russ @ Napletons Porsche. He's a fantastic service advisor and fellow Porsche car nut.

If if you can't make it to Westmont (above), send the car to AMS Performance in West Chicago. Closer to Batavia and Larry is the go to point of contact there.

Thanks for the replies! I will be making some calls first thing Monday morning. The car has been maintained at Rennology in North Aurora and it sounds like the owner has been pretty meticulous.

Hopefully I can share some good news soon if there are no surprises.

In addition to the other shops mentioned, you might want to check out Euroquipe in St. Charles. Kent & Tim will be able to help you out.

I had them do a PPI on a car that I purchased a few years ago and they were quite thorough.

Second fisher, I was there this morning, or Motorwerks. Both in Barrington straight up 59 from the west suburbs.
