Well I live up in Glencoe, but I work by Millennium Park and drive to work (until snow fall when I'll start taking Metra).

Just picked up my first Porsche and live in the West Loop. Definitely would like to meet up sometime, going to check out PCA for local events as well.

Hey guys,
Headed to Fuelfed this Sunday in Winnetka. They rescheduled the rained out meet from two weeks ago.
https://fuelfed.wordpress.com/events-calendar/

This is one of the better European Classic clubs in the US IMO.
Lots of air-cooled pcars and there is a smaller separate corral for modern euro cars. Many 911s there.
I'll be there at 9a.

That sounds fantastic! I'll be there as well. Guy in a black Cayman with an obnoxious Borla exhaust

FYI you'll need to be a Fuelfed member to park in the corral otherwise there's parking on the side streets with the plebes.

I picked up a 2003 Boxster S. 6 Speed Manual in Midnight Blue over Savannah Beige.

Two owner car with 58k miles that passed PPI without any issues. Drove three others before I found this one and none were even close.

I'm planning on bringing it to Winnetka on Sunday, no expectation of being near the display as I believe the cutoff is '90.

Nice! I'll see you on Sunday. I go to West Loop a lot (my brother lives there) so it will be good to share some "local knowledge" regarding shops, detailing etc.

Not sure how I stumbled upon this thread but was considering hitting up the FuelFed event. Heard about it from my buddy Bart the other day, sounds like there's some serious cars up there.

Depending on how my Sunday schedule works out, I may be there.

Might also be down for some of these other meets now that I know about them. I live way NW of the city (Huntley) *but* I work in River North and drive every day.

Fuelfed is a great club. Brian does a great job running it. See some pretty awesome rides at these events.

I have tentative plans this weekend but if they fall through, the wife and I may come up for a bit
