Hi! I just got my hands on some 986 2 way power seats. I'd like to install in my 944, but as you can see, the switch is broken on the right seat. I found the replacement part on ebay for $100. It loops like the replacement part is the entire panel and plug. I am wondering if anyone has been able to source the switch only?
take a look at my switch below, it looks pretty beat up and I don't have any of the pieces. I may be forced to buy the whole part. Any ideas on a used part that's inexpensive?
I'm wondering if I could substitute a on-off-on toggle switch in lieu of factory switch. Yeah it will looked rigged but buy my some time to find the assembly at reasonabe price.
