Default How to connect CTEK 7002 battery charger

I have a 2015 Boxster S and I bought CTEK 7002 battery charger to trickle charge. Not sure how I connect? Positive to Positive terminal of the battery and the negative to the Car body? Also How long should I keep it in charge?

Thanks

Positive to positive. Negative to negative. Attach positive first. Remove negative first. Trickle chargers can stay attached for long periobds. My Battery Tender stays connected to car, boat, and/or trailer batteries when not they aren't used for long periods - months at a time.

You can also connect via the 'cigarette lighter' socket.Check posts from JFP for discussion. This may be easier for you.
