Default 986 Headlight for cosmetic appearance. What works and looks cool?

I've seen a couple of versions but there must be a consensus here as to which is best considering cost, ease of install, appearance and practicality. Also, pitfalls.
Yeh, I know, that is not a 986.
Thanx

Check out the long thread on 986forum in the DIY section started by a fellow going by Nine8six. He is making some beautiful retrofits. I have them myself and can vouch for the quality and amazing impact they've had on the look of the front end of the car.

It's hard to beat a set of litronics with the orange internal lens yanked out and coated with a few coats of urethane clear. You can add a few drops of black paint if you are into the smoked look, but they look best clear imo.
