Default Changes to 986/987 through the years...

I tried searching but couldn't find a list of the changes anywhere....

Also, any years to avoid??

While not technical at the parts level (more marketing oriented), these are the major changes up until I stopped maintaining the list

Thanks so much Mike, I wish you had kept going past 08!! Really shocked there aren't a ton of comprehensive lists out there!!

Anyone who wants to provide me more info on the various years that aren't in that list, I'll be glad to add that info. One thing I think I remember relying on is the product reviews on Edmunds. I seem to have the memory that when they were discussing each year's new model, they had enough info that I could build my list from it.

My real interest stopped at the 986s so it was built primarily with me in mind. Only a very few ever contributed and, when I aged out of Boxsters, I stopped maintaining it. I still post just to try and be helpful where I can. I owe something back for all those who helped me through many years of very happy Boxster ownership.
