Have a problem with my 2002 Boxster S. When I raise the top, the windows on both sides do not drop down. Yet the windows drop down perfectly 1/2 inch, when the doors are opened. Is this a fuse problem, though I have not found a blown fuse, or is the main relay shot? Have not found any references here yet.

My vague recollection is one possible explanation as to why the windows do not drop the couple of inches when one goes to lower the top is the emergency brake switch is not functioning.

and clean the contacts. A few years back I had a mechanic do this rather than replacing the part. Hopefully it works for you.
