986 wind deflector
I just bought a 2002 Boxster (non S).
Questions:
1. The car doesn't come with wind deflector. Is it normal that wind deflector doesn't come with the car when it was purchased new from the dealer?
2. Where is the best place to buy a 986 wind deflector? I don't have to have original Porsche.
Thanks

pretty sure it came with the car, yours just got lost over the last 13 years.
i don't think there are any aftermarket parts for that. for a vendor just pick one of the usual suspects. or keep watching the classifieds for a used one.

I've got one I'm selling. Bought a 98 Boxster I'm converting to Spec boxster. Has the cover, no scratches, clips are good. I assume it will fit your 02 but you might need to check that out. I've never used it. - looks new. PM me if your interested

"lost"?
I have read that a lot of these which show up on ebay/craigslist/kijiji etc. have been swiped from parking lots from unattended cars to satisfy this self-fulfilling market; you may even be buying your own property back !
