Default Disconnect Bose sub 986

Hello all! Glad to be here. I am upgrading the speakers in the Bose Subwoofer on 2004 Boxster S with the M490 system. Does anyone know how to disconnect the harness plug on the passenger side down near the bottom of the roll bar? I can feel the plug but not see it, so it is hard to know what tabs are there and how to release male from female. Thanks in advance!

It isn't the easiest of things to get to, t h, but I find it eadier if you put the roof into the 'service position'.
At least then you can see what you're doing.

Have done it many times to get the engine cover. Mine just pulls off, no tabs. However on a 20 year old car the tabs may be broken ha ha
