Oil Leak ???

What is RMS
Read about this everywhere, what is it? I have a dried oil looking area on the underside of the engine.

I suspect it is the dreaded RMS leak...
I have a '00 S (38k miles) and mine was "damp" in the same area as yours. I had my clutch, RMS seal and "Auxiliary seal/flange" replaced. It’s been bone dry now for 9 months
