2001 Boxster seats, how do I remove the seat backs?
I just purchased a set of 2001 Boxster seats and need to remove the seatbacks from the bottoms so I can get them into my 928 for transport home.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Glenn,
I don't mean to be picky or bring any negativity to you, but you forgot the "s" in Boxster. The name came from a combination of the boxer engine and the roadster... Box/ster! If I knew anything about taking the seat apart this is where I would inform you, but I don't. Good luck in your request.

I don't have my seats in front of me, but it is possible... I did it once, but I can't remember for the life of me... although, I don't remember it being too hard with a good set of tools.

Rob Budd sent me this,
"There's a couple bolts on each end at the bottom of the seat back and a rod that goes all the way across. On the end of the rod, there's a clip or allen head screw that must come off so the rod slides out. Once its unbolted and the rod comes out, the back comes off."
Does this sound correct?
