If i tap the dash on my 99 the light goes out. Tap it again it goes on. If on, tap it and the light goes out. Light was on when I bought the car about 500 miles ago. I had the dash out to replace the ignition housing. When I finished the job, the light was out. Then when I learned about tapping it. Anyone have any ideas? It is a 99 VIN 0001 with 77k miles. The VIN is before the buckle fix, but with the dash tap shutting the light I dont think it is the buckles.
