Lightbulb Sport Exhaust DIY (bypass)

Here you can see a spectacular fine handwork. A friend of mine did this mod in his Boxster S. He included 2 valves to cut the bypass. The valves must be closed by hand
It's the bypass to get a sport exhaust.
You only need steel tubes from plumbing and welding.
The cost = 25 &

After this mod, all the parts were painted in black anti high temperatures paint (sorry but I'm spanish and I don't speak english very well) .

These valves were not installed at last

Cheap and Nice....How is the sound? How much resonance noise can you hear inside? I will do this mod pretty soon as well but will run the pipes differently

Mi friend spent some hours to study how to to set the pipes because he didn't want to see anything from the rear view. OEM sport exhaust installation shows the pipes when you are in front of the end of the car.

It tooks over 5 hours.

Sounds exactly as OEM installation

I think you installed the pipe too early in the exhaust system, the pipe doesn't weld into the post-cat pipe,it should be connected just before the muffler I thought.

Hey guys:

A buddie of mine also created a bypass pipe setup on his boxster.

You can see it on his website:

go to the garage link.
