Eric,
The latest issue of 911 & Porsche World has an article about a TechArt mod that increases the displacement of a stock S to 3.4 litres. Essentially they replace the stock pistons and cylinders to get a bore and stroke of 96mm and 78mm respectively. Compression remains the same as stock at 11.3:1.
Seems to involve quite a lot of work though. They also replaced the air-box with a larger one containing a free-flow air filter and replaced the exhaust with their own stainless equal length system.
In addition they: gas-flowed and ported the heads, replaced the camshafts and remapped the ECU.
The results were 310hp and 269.4lb-ft of torque. Performance was 0-62 (it's a British mag) in 5.1 seconds with a top speed of 174mph.
They require suspension and aerodynamic mods too, including a new front spoiler, brake cooling ducts, rear wing, coilovers and new anti-roll bars.
They don't give a price and this is way too involved for a kit, so you'd have to contact them regarding the conversion. Their US distributor is CEC, their website is http://www.cecwheels.com.
Meant to mention, they're the only company I'm currently aware of who offers this, although I'm sure there are others who could do this for you.

Gemballa makes a 3.6L turbo (possibly twin) 480HP conversion of the 3.2L. They basically tear the engine and replace the pistons, rods, cams etc. I'm told that its an amazing product. they can also swap the 3.2L with a real GT3 engine. Although thats not legal in the USA.
