Hi, I normally post on the 997 board.

I've contacted Sven at Wilhelmy-IT and he is willing to support a group buy on the smartTOP if we can get enough people to commit. Since this is an off-season product (winter) he is willing to extend this group buy to 997, 996 and the 986. He said this is a one time exception. We can have this run about two weeks and see if there is enough interest.

The responses have slowed somewhat. It has been suggested that I expand this group buy to members outside of the Rennlist forum. I have posted on several other Porsche sites with a link back to this thread. Hopefully this will generate additional interest.

So far, i have counted 20 people who have ordered the smartTOP. Ten more to go. Just to let you know, we are still getting new folks joining the group buy. Hopefully this will speed up the time it takes to get to 30 orders.

We have over 30 people signed up for the group buy and we have started the orders. We have 26 people already placed their orders. We need just 4 more to reach 30 orders. Sven would like to ship out tomorrow if at all possible. I will PM and email folks again who have not ordered or who may have ordered but some how not being counted towards the GB.
