Not sure, but YouTube says the video is marked private. Maybe that's the cause? Either way, it's not viewable for me.

We had the Virginia Autocross Championship at Danville VA airport last weekend; I won my class but ended up coning away my best runs both days, which was especially frustrating when I saw the results and discovered I'd coned away first place overall in the state. Ugh! Ah well, at least I can say I coned away first place overall in the state, and that's something, right?

Default GT4 at a Vette event...

Fastest street tired car of the day, by a long way. See how the ABS needed to kick in and save me from the wall just after the finish. I was *not* going to lift before the finish.

Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hermine rained out our local events this weekend, so my wife and I drove 90 minutes inland to VMSC, a neighboring club with near perfect weather for the day. I had a good day- coned away my best two runs, but my only clean run still won my class and put me in 2nd place overall for the event, out of first by just 4 hundredths of a second. Fun event, though, I always like running with VMSC. Nice to just be able to arrive & drive & **** cones and not worry about organizing and running the whole show.

I don't usually like to beat on our triumph, but my dad is very active in the local clubs, and they had a national gathering with a small tight autocross, so I figured, why not. Car was a LOT better than I thought considering that the suspension is basically stock. It was fun to show the car show guys that the thing is not all show and no go.

Well, shoot, I see I can't embed a facebook video.....aaand I don't remember how to delete the post.

sorry :/

Default Porsche LPR and GGR events, September 24, 25

This past weekend the Porsche Loma Prieta and Golden Gate regions had a joint event in Marina, CA. The course used was a BMW GGC design from April 2016. On Saturday we drove it counter-clockwise (the way shown on the map), and Sunday the opposite way (with a few course modifications).

Here are my best runs.

Whoa, watching this video is like watching the videos I take with my GoPro while skiing: it's nauseating!

Haha here is a less nauseating view. Clip from an earlier run...little bit slower and less "flair" around the corners.

first time trying out my new Garmin VIRB 30 camera. With the camera on the rear bumper it was out of range for bluetooth data.
