Sorry to see that this car will be no more, but I had a question regarding AS class. From what I see, it looks like you are allowed to add a factory LSD and remain in the street class. Wanted to check here also, since it looks like there was a lot of knowledge contributed to this thread.

According to the rule book and my research, you can install standalone options. Now it's just a matter of proving that it was an option...

The LSD was not an option on the Boxster or Cayman until the 987.2 came out in 2009; that's part of the reason why the 987.2 was placed in a different class than the 987.1.

I don't think it will be competitive in A-Street and winning is most important to me. I had a pipe dream of MAKING it work. Maybe they will eventually do something in STU or the car will drop (highly unlikely) to B-Street.
