A finished wheel. FEA tested.

18 x 13.5 w/ A6 335 = 50lbs
18 x 12 w/ A6 285 = 46lbs

Rough numbers with crappy scale.

Are you really going to hit cones with this car? It would be a crying shame to wack a cone with that front bodywork. So pretty.

I am. That is why it was built my friend! With my driving it's bound to be jacked up. LOL

Your complement is appreciated.

Haven't had it on scales yet, or done any suspension setup. My feeling is I'm under minimum(2250# for me), time will tell.

Well, it will win a trophy for looks. I now have to wait until spring to see if it will win a race. I was able to touch the pedal on the way back to the trailer...this thing is a complete MONSTER.

So...
Unfortunately, one of the CNC heads I used on this engine had a flaw in the casting. A puddle of coolant was forming in one of the plug bores under no pressure. Thankfully it was on the outside of the plug threads and noticeable. A cm down the plug threads and I may not have discovered the issue.
Texas Speed & Performance was great in resolving the issue. Replacing the head, gasket, and bolts(TQ to yield).

and done.

A few weeks ago I posted a small build thread on GRM's web forum. Ed Higginbotham(now one of my favorite people)noticed and decided to feature it, very cool.
