245 35 19 vs 255 35 19 at the front plus 325 30 19s at the rear
Hey guys,
EDIT: Change of plans. Going with 245/35/19 or 255/35/19 at the front with PSS or PS4S. I'm on Spyder wheels which as a 1mm more aggressive fitment than base wheels. Does anyone know how bad the fender lining rubbing is when turning withe the 255s? Also, does the top of the wheel wheel touch the tire under travel and can this be mitigated with increasing the camber on OEM suspension?
I see no one has posted before and after pics going with these sizes after searching through 30+ threads. From my understanding the 245s rub the fender liner and the 255s more so, but does the top of the wheel well rub with 255s? Any pics out there or anyone currently running this?

UPDATE: So the front and rear fender liners rub with the 255s. Found a post on 6Speedonline and what someone needed to do to make it work. I guess 245/35/19 is the limit unless you're going to spend the time on the front fender liner, rear doesn't rub that much. The top of the wheel well fender doesn't seem to be a problem though.

So took the 997.2 turbo for summer tires today, and realized there's no bump where the 997.1 turbos do for the radiator bracket. Does this mean I can go ahead and mount 255 35 19s?
Anyone here with a .2 that's done this? I think it's enough for clearance.

So incase anyone is wondering, 255 35 19 fit on 997.2 Turbos. The fender liner is different. No rubbing anywhere. Installed the 255 325 PS4S combo. Car looks perfect. Wheel gap is about 6mm less, front tire is flush with the fender, and rear tire is is tucked in about 2mm. Stance is perfect since we can't use wheel spacers on centerlocks. Side wall is quite stiff on the PS4S so perceived loss of handling sharpness on turn on is minimized and still a big improvement over the winter set up. Glad I went with my gut on this and installed these.

Just went for a hard drive with fast cornering, braking, acceleration... Absolutely no rubbing front or rear for those that have a 997.2 Turbo and want assurance, PS4S 255 35 19, and 325 30 19 is totally safe!! This also goes for turning on full lock. Seems like if you own a 997.1 Turbo you need to stick to 245 35 19 as even if the radiator brackets are removed there is still rubbing at the rear of the fender liner. This post should be in bold for future generations of owners as it seems to come up every so often.
