Default new to Porsche!

Hey guys,

new to this world and pretty happy so far, I come from the jdm side I had a lot of jdm cars

gtr r32
supra
nsx

and now I finally finish one of my dreams of my life a 997.1 turbo 2007 with 30k miles

a couple of pics:

I'm sorry for the pics I'm not too much in the photography scene (I wish)

by any chance can you please tell me if the wheels I have on my turbo are originals or what model they are? I'm planning to sell those and buy some other wheels I just wanna know how much are they worth!

thanks in advance and nice to meet you!

Congrats on the purchase! The 997 turbo is a great car.

You'll want to ditch those wheels pretty quickly. They look like the Sport Edition Cup 4 wheel; a cheap cast wheel that some people use for winter tires.

every car has their own soul, I'm really involved with Porsche because of my family, my brother and father always had Porsche in Europe and they were in love with them.

I never understand that since today, is really a car that ask to be driven! and thats what I really love about this car!

MODS ARE IN THE LIST BUT FOR THE MOMENT I REALLY WANNA DRIVE IT AS MUCH AS I CAN!

THANKS GUYS

BTW I SEE SOME REALLY NICE CARS IN HERE!

Supra is timeless. Welcome to the 'club'. Wheels if they are cast I would swap before any hard driving.

Great car, great color, great fun but when you can, you may want to find different wheels .

Unless, ...you love those wheels. I have never, ever seen a 997 Turbo with those wheels and to me, they just don't look ideal for that car.

What are your driving impressions so far? What do your friends and family say about it? They're so amazing to drive pretty much anywhere.

Default Welcome

Welcome to the club. There is nothing like starting out at the top with the turbo.

Agree with comments above about the wheels. As a matter of fact, I am looking for a set of rims for winter tires! PM me and we can work out a deal for the wheels.

My impressions about the car are really good! You just understand that there is a great powerband from stock! I was not ready in the jdm cars! They need to be squeezed out by modding them! so far so good really stable car great suspension i'm in love with it!

Btw i listen to you guys and my saturday morning starts like this:

I also bought the stock wheels to keep them:

Right now what probably needs is to go down! Maybe an inch! I'm not a big fan of springs but maybe this time is the right move! I read a lot and looks like people is pretty much happy with those!
