I have the "Loud" X with cats and it makes perfect Porsche music! Nice gurgle on decel and very authoritative on excel. Very well built and almost as nice to look at as to listen to. System gets lots of attention at gatherings. For those on the fence.....

Can't wait to get mine!! Here's a pic from yesterday at my local shop. My car is in the middle getting it's laundry list done in preparation for our spring Fredericksburg rally on the 16th. I've got the 3" X-pipe muffler delete ceramic coated w/ 200 cel cats coming, My buddy Jon on the left has one coming with 100 Cel for his 996, and my buddy Michael on the right is getting Ohlins and brakes.

Nice pic, is that RAC?

Not to get OT, but what rally are you talking about in Fredericksberg? Is it a Lone star event?

I'm heading down to Kerville to drive the twisted sisters in my new Cayman next Friday.. My wife is actual coming with me this time!

Bringing it back on topic, I love my Speedtech 3" X-pipe too!

Yes, Thats RAC. So there is a group of us that do 3-4 long rallies per year that we organize. We do Fredericksburg (We run all three sisters as well as 2 300 mile daily runs), Colorado (Usually here to Veil, Telluride, Aspen and back), and New Mexico (Taos, Sante Fe, Angel Fire, etc). They are insane high speed runs and not for the faint of heart but an incredible time. Drop me a PM and we can connect. Since you're in the area we would love to invite you on one of our local runs (Usually 1 per month). Have a great time on the sisters and be safe!

John,

You're an amazing guy to work with and after all the effort you have put into getting us our exhausts on time for our trip you just say the word and we would love to have you join us! You can even fly down and right seat with one of us if you like! Thank you for everything!

Just wanted to shout out to John, he stands behind his products like no other! I had a bolt bind up on one of my hanger straps and he sent me a new one free of charge. Great company to deal with and their 3" system is one of the few that make big power on the 997.1 Turbo platform. Kevin from UMW looked at my data after his tune and the Speedtech exhaust and estimated that my car is making 520 rwhp, or 580-600 crank hp!

Strimdog - PM me pls when you return from your run with the new 3.0 X-pipe/200 cells. I'd like your feedback given your track exp. I have the same setup and can't imagine swapping it for anything else - its just plain raw and raspy. thx.

I have said it all the time, but I LOVE my 3in Catless speedtech exhaust. It is a joy to shake the house on cold start, decal burbles are eargasms, and WOT is divine.
