Bluetooth Issues
I've just begun what will be a month long process of "learning" all the features in my just acquired 08 tt. Right out of the chute, I attempted to pair my iPhone to the cars phone system. Haven't been able to do it yet in spite of calling the manufacturer twice!
The bluetooth installation is made by mObridge out of California. In researching this forum, I found that the mObridge system is one of the better units on the market, since it used the telephone keys on the PCM.
The mObridge will only store 4 user phone numbers requiring that you delete users before you can install another.
Without going into detail, I somehow managed to delete the entire phone book in the system while attempting to pair my phone. No success and very frustrating. I'd like to take the car into a specialist in the Chicago market to get the unit working, but have not been able to find one. I've reached out to the manufacturer for a recommended installer in Chicago.
Anyone have any ideas?

No idea about your specific question, but I've found on things that are not turbo-specific that they tend to get a lot more attention on the regular 997 forum..

Might want to check with mfr on software updates. We support and offer the Dension but the mobridge is not a bad unit, but be sure it's up to date. Some products are easily updatable and can make a world of difference. Check around with some of the Indy audio shops there that cater to high end (Audi, Porsche, MB)...maybe you have already. I can help with Dension, but not much with mobridge. Hopefully they will respond and get you up and running.

Problem Solved
I disconnected the battery overnight and the mObridge software reset itself. I then found that there was one additional step in the sequence to delete users. Once I learned that, I was able to delete the 4 prior users, and the system then registered me quickly.
