Default 997TT FVD Brombacher Tuning Software

I am asking my fellows Porsche rennlisters for an opinion. I have been lurking on the forum for a while searching for opinion on the FVD Brombacher tuning Software for the 997TT so far no luck. If anyone seen any feedback of the FVD tuning software could you post the link. Thanks

My vehicle has had the FVD tune pre-installed from the previous owner. It seems to be running perfectly fine, driveability seems fine, power delivery is smooth. But i have no baseline to compare it to.

It's the lowest performing tune on the market with only a 50 horsepower bump in performance. If i paid for the tune, i would go a different route.

I have a custom fvd programmed ecu, runs like its OEM. No cel, all codes ready, no issues with emissions. I've used their programming on three different turbos, always flawless, not dangerous at all. Several good ones on the market, umw is good too.

FVD has an impeccable reputation, this German company has been tuning turbos since the 959.....

Is there a need to replace the OEM spark plugs to any specific aftermarket plugs

They recommend denso pk20PR on the 555hp package. Pelican has them at a good price.

FWIW, my genius handheld device and software suit quit working. A shout out to Germany and the guys could not help me. I am wondering if it's my PC. I have tried multiple installs and it will not load correctly (bad personal computer was the problem)

I had a similar issue years ago when I had a FVD tune (I have a UMW tune now).

Somehow the image on the mygenius got currupted, and the guys in Germany couldnt get it sorted out, they had to get some people from the Italian company that developed the MyGenius device to fix it..
It took a few days to get it sorted out..
Good luck..

I never tried the genius bc my ecu was corrupted with a poorly done piggy back tune, I had to send the ecu to fvd Germany to get fixed. They did a stellar job too!
