However, more PPI required as i assume anybody putting those kind of mods in drove it a lot harder than Car 1 for 10k more miles overall.
I've spoken to both owners. Both cars have the same mods (exhaust/tune/clutch) the only difference is Car 1 has another "powerish" mod with the intercoolers and Car 2 has a suspension part done with springs

Car 2 owner is giving the shop he has all his work done at permission to tell me anything/everything about the car. Additionally, car 2 just finished the 60k maintenance service so another plus.

If both cars require you to fly somewhere to take a look, I would ask for the rev report before you part with your money for a flight.

I'm not trying to overdo the importance of the rev report, but it's just something to consider before booking a flight, wouldn't want to get there and find out it has a bunch of range 5/6s recently.

No I definitely agree with you there. I'm calling the shop that has done the work and I'm going to see what they are able to do. The other thing about Car 2 is it says EVOms tune and exhaust but I've never heard of EVOms having their own exhaust (other than headers). I'm looking to validate what exhaust it is because as I noted, it is throwing codes for the cats so I may need to buy a new cat worst case hopefully. It could also just be the tune or bad o2 sensor, so again, I'll ask the mechanic when I call them today.

Regardless, my flight to SoCal to see Car 2 isn't a big deal. I'm going to fly down there, see the car, drive the car and assuming there are no surprises, I'll buy it and drive it back!

Check those pccbs, potential 15k repair. Their lifecycle is 50-100k miles.
Ppi is a must
Evoms used to rebrand Fab speed stuff, they may make their own now.

Kind of off topic, but is the red center console on the 1st one custom painted, or can you buy them somewhere? I think me likes.

Pulled the trigger on car 2. Just booked my flight to fly out tomorrow to see the car, pay for it and drive it home.

It is missing an exhaust tip (passenger side fell off) and needs a new cat, but for the price I think I got a lot of car for the money.

I'll post pics once I get her cleaned up from the trip home and put another tip on. Thinking about fixing the cat and then selling it (Techart is the exhaust)

Congrats! You did the good thing here. Pretty much any car that's 10 years old and has 60k miles will have some issues but #2 looks amazing. Let us know your impressions on your drive home. You are going to be SO HAPPY.
