Default Big shout out to Marek at Markski Tuning

I have a 2007 Turbo Tip, that I purchased last year June. The Turbo came with an unknown Tune, and never felt right as far as power goes.
As we are quite limited in South Africa with regards to Porsche Tuners specislizing in 997 Turbo's, I contacted Marek after doing as much research as possible. I was really surprised to find an extremely helpful and knowledgeable guy, who was also great to deal with at almost anytime of the day (or night)
Once I had sent Marek my tune, he could see what was wrong and immediately set about creating a tune for my weather condition's here in Ballito which are tropical.
Loading the tune was really easy, but the best was taking the Turbo for a drive.
Wow! I couldn't believe how smooth and powerful from low down the car felt. Completely different to how I got it.
Thank you Marek for sorting my Turbo out 👍🏻

Hi Guys, the wheels are BBS CH R Titanium finish 19" with standard size (Turbo) tyres.
I love the Turbo for how it drives and handles, but have always preferred the classic 911 shape without a wing.
I must tell you, although it was a straight swop (and therefore fully reversible) the wiring needed a lot of work (unlike swopping from a Turbo to a Carrera) I had to bypass the computer and create a separate wiring circuit to get the wing to operate as standard (all plug and play and completely reversible to standard)
I agree it's not for everybody (my wife prefers the standard Turbo wing) but I love it!

Hi indesj01, I got them from Baan Velgen in Holland, as they offered the best price/shipping to South Africa. I am sure you would be able to get them in the USA for a really good price. The centre caps are Porsche original, they don't colour match the wheels 100% but are really close.

IamSMC , The Turbo handles perfectly at high speed, 220km/h+
It does have a DSC module fitted which really helps the suspension across all conditions.
Saying that you can feel that it does not have the extra down force from the Turbo wing, but at no point does it feel unstable.
