Anyone tried these wheels?
I want a new set of wheels without having to sell my kidney.
I currently only have one left after owning the Ferrari, so really need to keep this one.
But on paper these wheels look really nice, and the price is around half of others I have looked at.
After the thread a few weeks ago, and those wheels, I'm being careful.
Anyone have these? Genuine 3 piece and they are available in gold as well.

Work wheels. Quite a few guys running them on 964/993 cars. Seem to run well. Think they're predominantly cast, so likely a little heavy, but could be wrong.

I really like the 3 piece look.
The look versus the money seems like a no brainer? I'm thinking about just buying them over an exhaust.
Many often wonder what makes WORK Wheels so strong? WORK focuses much of its technology in rim forming. Our rim barrel is what really sets us apart. Many companies focus on the phrase "Forged", but that only pertains to the center disk construction.
The rim barrel is what takes most of the load of the vehicle; having a forged center disk with spun rim barrel really doesn't make much difference in the strength (this applies to two and three piece construction wheels).
WORK Wheels is one of the only companies in the world to develop and utilize a "Solid Rim Flange." Our rim barrels are highly regarded by other wheel manufacturers as well. Many other wheel makers have requested to purchase our rim barrels for their wheels.

WORK wheels are really good quality stuff. Japanese make some amazing wheels, in fact, I am looking at their WORK FMB01 forged wheels.
Keep in mind that if you go with wheels more heavy than OEM... your ride comfort, response and light on it's feet feel will be noticeably reduced.

I used Works wheels on my BMW and Minis in the past. Great wheels and really good quality (polished lips on my old Meisters were super shiny and retained their lustre well).
Agree they are more show than go but not grossly overweight.
They can custom fabricate to any offset/barrel width etc if you are prepared to wait.
Have had the Meister S1 2-piece and 3-piece wheels and ordered them direct from Japan.
