Default Did the door sill wrap tonight.

It came out better then I thought.
I have a factory carbon wheel and ebrake so I diecided to wrap the sills in carbon instead of painting them.

That looks great! I did some precut CF look vinyl a while back but it peeled up. Can you post where you got your supplies and any tips?

Great idea wrapping in vinyl. I'll give it a try using satin black for a factory look.

Looks great! Beats the scuffed up look of the stock material. It will be interesting to see how durable it is.

This is what I used.
A blow dryer works well make you heat is good when you doing the edges and I left about 2cm one the back side
you can't really screw it up if you have air bubbles just add a little heat and work them out.

Looks awesome! I am going to do this with my trim pieces whenever I get my car. I will probably use matte finish over the gloss.

Great work!

Nice job! Which wrap did you use? Since I don't have any other CF, I think an OEM looking wrap would best for me? Any special prep needed? Any tips? Thanks in advance!

It's pretty straight forward the wrap is forgiving I used cf because the steering wheel and other items are cf if not I would of went factory.
I used a bit of brake cleaner on a cloth and wiped the parts down.
Only tip is do not over heat it and stretch the wrap too much I think if you do it there will be too much tension and it will start to peel
i posted the wrap I used in previous reply it's from amazon.
