WTB: 997.1 Turbo
Thought I'd post this in here to get more traffic and because I received a lot of PMs from people not advertising their car for sale, but was toying with the idea.
Established budget is $65K
Looking for a 997.1
Ideally black on black
6 speeds only
Would like to keep mileage in the "sweet spot" of 30-50K but "higher mileage" cars are welcome too
Mods are welcomed (preferred a modded car vs all stock)
Closer to California the better, but I already have shipping company ready if I need to ship
Thank you!

I think if you go to 70-75k you'll find some much nicer cars. Remember, no such thing as a cheap turbo, either pay up front or later in maintenance/ repairs. Try for the nicest, lowest mile, closest to stock car you can afford. A frankenturbo may seem like a good deal, but with heavy mods comes heavy wear/ tear.

Sage advice from TT Surgeon (as usual) Keep an eye up in Canada (West Coast). I had a lot that I went through when I bought mine 2 years ago. I still keep an eye from time to time. No salt used in British Columbia and with the exchange rate - your $$ is going further.
Just get a solid PPI done and drive the hell out of it.
Good luck!

No pics of the car? The only thing with Canada is that assuming it is a Canada based car, the speedo will be in KM/H right? I've looked at a car in Canada (originally US Spec) but after taking into account the duty fee and everything, your conversation rate advantage goes away.

When no pictures that usually means it has just been recieved at the dealership, pictures usually pop up in a day or two.
Didn't know how painful it was to go CDN -> USA as I just investigated a car moving USA -> CDN before I bought mine.
Instruments are metric (including speedo) but you have the MPH digitial display (which I would set to km/hr on a US car plus turn running lights on to import to Canada).

Appreciate your help though!
I have one car that I'm looking at, but still looking.

Yeah that's always the problem in that what I thought to be nice cars always got bought before I could seriously examine them or even get info from a salesperson (especially those cars not local).
I ended up buying mine on the first phonecall from a distant Porsche dealership in Ontario minutes after it had been dropped off on a trade-in. The guy I talked to on the phone didn't know what vehicle I was talking about as it wasn't in their inventory tracking system yet but he still ended up getting the world's easiest sale!
