Original sport Chrono and new Autometer pro-comp gauge

Easy to remove the old gauge, just 4 screws underneath it

Installed - not yet powered

I've never been a fan of the clock that just sits there. Always screamed for a more functional gauge in my opinion. I have powered this new Autometer gauge up yet, so I will update this thread after I have it fully hooked up.

Direct fit, just had to dremel the mounting posts a bit off the back of the new gauge so it would still pivot in the mount, as the original sport chrono clock does. Other than that, fits great.

Funny...I just replaced mine with a PLX OBD II Multi Gauge too...as the Chrono really seems useless!

Nice, I was looking to replace the useless chrono thing also. Looking forward to see how the wiring goes.

Is the removal and reinstallation of the Sport Chrono gauge reversible?

A boost gauge would be cool too.

I'd like a boost gauge as well!

This is a great idea. I don't see me using the crono. Is there an odb boost gauge that will fit?

Sort of...The PLX is a multi Gauge from OBD and can display (26 diff metrics) up to 4 at a time. You need a separate Boost sensor for the boost gauge. It is a nice gaige and you can create custom screens etc..

THey should do it like the Torque app.. the latest version of Torque can show vacuum/boost on a single gauge,it must calculate it from the MAP sensor and the atmosperic pressure sensor..

If it could do that then Id for sure do the conversion..
