I'm emailing with the seller.. I have the serial number of the unit and researching. I would still nred a tailored tune...since this has the off the shelf tune... Walking slowly...

All cobbs have off the shelf tunes. No cobb comes with anything other than off the shelf tunes.
you cant buy a cobb with a PRO tune... every cobb has to be uninstalled and returned to its original settings before sold.

I spoke with Cobb and for future reference a potential buyer will néed the number on the unit that starts with POR####. There are specific Cobb units configured to various ROMs for the 997.2 TT.
A buyer will need this number to ensure the Cobb unit is ROM compatible with their 997.2 TT or TTS.

With you located in Bahrain, it makes it difficult for me to pull the trigger. I wish you the very best selling your Cobb unit.

On their website says it should be compatible with every 997.2 TT/TTS. I emailed them to confirm.

Understood, just relaying what Sam at Cobb customer support stated that depending on the unit you have there are ROM variations for the 997.2 TT/TTS . I'm no SME.

Think you may have misinterpreted the info, since if that was the case, there would be several options on their website. And we werent asked anything about the rom when purchased. Will keep the post updated.

Hi there,

While there are specific maps for each car, they all come preloaded for all of the supported vehicles on the Accessport (in your case 2010-13 911turbo and turbo s. So as long as the unit is uninstalled from the previous vehicle it will work on any of those cars and be good to go!
