Yes, pro installer less than 90 minutes. Dealers can do this too, but 3-4 hours is a stretch.

Bingo.

Read instructions. Drink beer.
Re-read instructions. Drink another beer.
Give up, start on it next day.

Follow the email info we sent before you tackle it. Should be fine.

I figured I would go over the install instructions 3x take a deep breath then have refreshments on hand and begin the install over the weekend. Everything looks straight-forward from what I have read so far Thanks Eric, if I have any issues I will send email.

Eric, do these integrate properly with no errors? I've never been able to get mine working seamlessly- always get CD changer errors when I turn on the car. Wondering if they've changed the hardware at all to make them work a little better.

Hardware is pretty much unchanged since original release of the 500SBT a few years ago, but we're on version 60 firmware (started around 47 I believe). But if you have set it up correctly, and installed correctly, you should not have errors.

Email is best: info@bumperplugs.com

Detail the error if you can, tell me year/model/cdc or no/factory phone or no, etc. What version firmware are you running and how long have you had it?

Send email. thx.

I get the CD error also. But I am on Ver 50. Will not chance upgrading since everything works fine. Unless I can be convinced that this has been taken care, no firmware upgrade for me.

atcbi5 - try 57, really.

If you don't have it email me at info@bumperplugs.com and I'll be happy to send it.

Sale continues...

Thanks.

Thanks Eric, your service as always is over and above. Regardless of the minor error I still think this is the best option available for those that want to retain the OEM PCM.
