Default Porsche 997 Turbo do88 performance inlet ducts

do88 started 9 years ago. The cornerstones of this company has always been great customer support, fast deliveries and top-quality products. After numerous of intercooler and radiator projects, we have sharpened our focus in recent years. We are proud to present our latest efforts for the Porsche 997 Turbo.

We are happy to present to the Rennlist forum members, our inlet ducts for the 997.1 and 997.2!

The engineers at Porsche are no pinfeathers. They know. Developing anything better than what they have already come up with is no walk in the park. Many claim that they are better, but are failing to show any data supporting their statements. All data you can read and display, gathered by us, on our site or in forums, are true and valid . We donīt mess around. What you see is what you get. And what you get is something that will in fact outperform the stock pieces.

Comparison stock vs do88

Key features for the 997.2 ducts:
- Much larger overall inner diameter for improved air flow, 26% higher! (see diagram below). The hoses has 2,5" (63mm) inner diameter on the smallest location.
- Smooth flow transitions.
- Very smooth internal surface for best air flow.
- Excellent thermal properties, the hoses will not absorb heat from the engine.
- The hoses are reinforced with stainless steel wire to eliminate the risk of implosion at high outtakes.

It was a real challenge developing new turbo intake hoses for the 997.2 Turbo. The lack of space made it really difficult to make a set of hoses that would outflow the stock plastic pipes. We succeeded but in some smaller areas we had to compromise and letting the hose have no clearance, so they will push or rub in some non-sensitive areas.

The package includes everything for mounting:
Two wire-reinforced silicone hoses.
2 CNC machined VTG adapters.
Clamps and Screws.
Detailed installation instructions.

Fits:
Porsche 997.2 Turbo
Model years: 2010-2015
Gear box: 6-Speed / PDK

$665 USD.

Just curious, the 997.2 ducts seem to have a narrower part compared to the 997.1 variants. What's taking up extra room in 997.2? Is it the bigger intercoolers?

The 997.2 stock intercoolers are in fact not bigger, and our ducts works with stock intercoolers as well as ours - meaning that itīs not the intercoolers that determines the shape of the hoses/ducts.

The 997 has a completely different engine. The engine mounts are active and takes more space. The inner diameter are in no way smaller on the 997.2 version compared to the 997.1, but the shape of it might confuse as it looks narrower.

Anyway, it isnīt.

Regards
Isak, do88.
