You call that obsessive?? I built and checked the list below once a day, some sites like Porsche USA/Canada, Kijiji, Autotrader Spokane and Canada several times per day over a year. There is also the matching spreadsheet comparing cars, retained value, ....
What is funny though is that I found the car that I bought in the Rennlist Canada discussion forum here - all the time wasted searching had some value in determining what was available plus identified the need to react instantly upon seeing the right car.
That's a good point as non-Porsche dealerships will generally price a 911 lower than their competing used vehicle brand to try to show that the Porsche doesn't hold resale value as well. The trade off for the lower price is no CPO plus you need to go elsewhere likely for service and repairs as well.

OMG... now THAT is obsessive!!! And I thought I had it bad when I was looking. I was almost embarrassed if anyone knew how much work I had put into my search. When I finally found my car on cars.com at the Ferrari Dealer in Scottsdale AZ, I knew immediately that I would put a deposit down on it as my looking had unearthed so many "just ok cars". I saw this ad and was SOLD. I didn't even get a PPI on it but bought it sight unseen online after the lady at the dealer walked all around it and described any and all defects (none at all).

I had this car on my list before I bought in July 2016 but wanted a 2009 at the earliest to get away from the phone # button dash/console (looking too dated for me) so this car has been on the market for near a year now.
Maybe price and red painted interior holding it back? It has aftermarket 20" wheels as the only thing I could see as being non-OEM.

Yeah I had this on my list also, I just couldnt get pass the tan interior. I knew I would be happy to have the car but just hate the inside to much
IMO this is priced kinda high also

Color is a matter of taste, but have to disagree with you on the price. $90K for a '11 TTS is a nice price.

Looks nice in the ad but I'd say if it's been on the market for 6+ months it's pretty much by definition overpriced.

I know where you're coming from, but still disagree. If it were a $20K Honda, I would agree, but it's a high-dollar car with a niche buyer universe, and doesn't appear to be broadly marketed. Plenty of rare and valuable items that take a while to sell.
