Not sure, but you may want to ask folks about the CF in the 997.2 models. For the 997.1s, I've heard of many issues with delamination, cracking and fading...JB

I just picked up a '13 TTS at the top of that range. 22k miles. Very happy with it. Really quick. The only issue I've had with my car is that the windows are tinted and the rear and the side windows have tiny dots around the edges the tint does not adhere to. Considering removing the tint, but it's a DD for me and Houston summers are brutal without the tint.

My friend was looking at a California car - 2012 Turbo S yesterday online and asked me about it. It was $13k less than it was a week ago he said, reduced to $88k! Hmmmm.... I paid $110k last year for a 8300 mi one, no carbon fiber. I would never, ever, get a car with a bunch of carbon fiber in the interior. It's just not me. To each his own. I put my arm on a door sill with carbon fiber and it made my arm sweat in 30 seconds in the summer. I much prefer the soft vinyl on my arm when I rest it there while driving. Carbon fiber on my arm feels like it's laying on a hard piece of plastic.

I should also add that I bought my car from a dealer and it was CPO car (which adds to the price).
On the race, the GT3RS would have a weight advantage, but HP, torque and AWD all favor the Turbo S. I don't think it would be close (the track bits that make the GT3 RS fast around the track would likely work against it in a straight line race against the Turbo S). The GT3 RS sounds a lot better. The Turbo S is just ridiculous quick. I've had a GTR in the past, and the acceleration is not even close (not to mention build quality).
