Default 997.2 Turbo S with Europipe exhaust in the Bay Area?

Hello,

I'm thinking of getting the Europipe exhaust for my 997.2 Turbo S.

Before placing an order with Stef, I'd love to hear the exhaust in person. Is there anyone in the SF Bay Area who would be willing to let me audition their car?

Thanks in advance!

Alex

Thank you; I've spent lots of time listening to the exhausts online before zeroing in on Europipe. I'm looking for the last "due diligence" confirmation before pulling the trigger and buying the thing.

You are welcome. When I had my 08 TT cab I was seriously looking at Europipe. They seem to be the "gold standard" of aftermarket exhausts for this car. And apparently no drone, which is the big thing with any of these. There's the odd one that shows up on the Parts Classified as well.

I had a C2S with AWE cats and Fister exhaust before buying my 997TT. I almost sold it after about a month because of the lack of sound. I went with Europipe and couldn't be happier. Sounds like a true Porschd Turbo. After a tune you will also hear the turbos more because the boost come on sooner and stays on longer/harder.

I have a 997.1 Turbo wearing a Europipe stage 2 in Oakland, if you like to hear it. It should be very very close to what yours might sound like.

Thank you, caslca and hkiang!

At this point, I think I'm ready to order the EP sight unseen. Next stop: UMW ECU/PDK tune from Kevin. I'm very excited to see how both of these transform my car.

you certainly won't be disappointed with the service. I bought my EP second-hand and Stef treated me like I had bought it from him. Very helpful, and full of information.

With the exhaust and tune, prepare yourself for an altogether different car. If you thought your car was fast before... You'll honestly want to think about suspension next, as a safety consideration. Have fun!

Hey Alex, where are you in the Bay Area? I have a 997.2 TT with an OTS Cobb Tune (for now; need to data log and send to Sam at By Design who is awesome for a custom tune) and sporting a used Europipe and like Domer911, I received stellar support from Stef! Cold startups will send chills down your spine!

@real I'm in Los Gatos. My Europipe is clearing customs right now; can't wait for it to get here!

I'm in SF and was on the fence between Epipe and Kline. A good sound and no drone were my top two criteria. Kline won out based on their discussions of harmonics, laminar flow, and neck downs as the exhaust gas cools to maintain velocity. As an engineer in compressible fluid flow this hooked my ear and made the decision easy.

Let me know if you want to hear it. I'm also running a Cobb Stage II tune from Sam.
