Default FVD exhaust 997.1 turbo

Hello all! I'm new to the boards but I've been through nearly every post reading reviews, comments, discussions and how-to's. To all who contribute THANKS! So one thing that came up consistently in my search for exhaust systems was FVD quality and sound and Rhonda's customer service. Both did not disappoint and I have nothing but good things to say. My exhaust came about a week before expected and due to the inclement weather here in FL my shop would not be able to install until late next week. That being said, after waiting months to make this decision the last thing I had the willpower to do was see this thing in my garage every day for the next week. It took about 4-5 hours and a brother. The only thing I can add to the excellent DIY from vivid is to get a 13mm ratchet wrench, that would have cut our time in half. Videos to come! There just aren't enough sound clips of 997's on youtube...

Which version did you get? I have the BB version with the 200 cats and I absolutely love it. I also reused my stock tips.

We probably have the same, brombacher sound version 200 cell cats. I've only had a chance to take one test drive but what I heard was music .

Here's a quick edit I made, had to rush out of town bc the kids were getting crazy with no electricity...

Just a 2 month, ~700 mile update:

The exhaust still sounds incredible, no problems whatsoever and importantly no CEL's as promised.
However I read a few places that there is no drone and I can assure you that is not the case on throttle above 2K. Now I'm in NO way saying it's a terribly noisy or even quality of life changing/unbearable drone I'm just saying it IS there. Personally I like it, it reminds me of the beast behind me pushing my car.

Congrats...mine has been great and Rhonda was a pleasure...although the older I get the less I want it as loud as it is currently. May have to do something about that?

I was debating switching over to FVD, EP or Tubi just to try something different and get some nice chrome tips. the slight drone bugs me about FVD though. Too bad EP is a bit pricey.

I had a Speedtech with 200 cell cats. Used it for a while but had drone. Now I have a EP-1 and LOVE IT! Wish I would have just got that from the get go.

Did it run you $4015 + tips? Also doesn't it only come with 100 cell cats?

The fvd tuv and quiet versions don't drone, neither does the modified OEM version they offer, my current. Kline is another good system with zero drone, around 3k delivered as I recall.

FVD - Sport Muffler 997 TT "+650PS" (Sound Version) - looks like no cats?

Is this the version you're running?
