Let the mod's begin .
i'm pretty new here, and to the porsche world, but i do come from the high performance light duty diesel world ( ford , gm , ram ) , so i know a thing about big hp and tq . i rarely leave anything alone. anyway i always wanted a turbo and got one. my first step was getting with Todd at Protomotive and getting a base setup , with a growth plan. starting with a 93 octane tune and Stainless exhaust , then once i'm tired of that put injectors , intercoolers, and all the regular maintenance stuff like welding the coolant lines , and then switch to E85 and let it eat.
So far i have the 93 tune in it, and it definitely woke this car up , not sure if i will see a difference with exhaust installed, but hopefully ! i will be doing the exhaust this weekend .

im just gonna buy it in barrels from a quality seller like VP or Gulf , and swap tunes , i dont plan on running it all the time , i drive a little too much. Todd said i'll have a 91 tune for the bigger injectors , so i'll just have to run the tank way down before swapping.

Hey Big,
I live five minutes from you. When you need a 55 drum of 100 octane unleaded just let me know. I have a friend who will deliver it to your shop or house. I keep a drum of 105 in the garage. I mix in 3 gl every time I fill up. That gives me my 93 octane. Just let me know.
BTW...I saw your car in the parking look at Moorpark Country Club the other day. I play every Monday and Wednesday at noon. Sometimes Thursday too.

I definitely noticed a difference in speed/performance when i added the exhaust to my tune only car. But that being said the tune made a bigger impact imo. You will notice though. Seemed like more tq and more speed (faster) but rush of acceleration about the same to me seat of the pants.

I did a fair amount of mods to my car...like 8 years ago now and the car is perfect. Go for it.

YOU are kinda the reason i went this direction. i like your style. my fill up will be about 20 miles , so i'll just send a truck over for a few barrels at a time.

while waiting to drop the motor and do the common reliability mods, i switched to a 100 octane tune , and started messing with it on race gas and boy is it sure a lot stronger than the 91 tune. looks like i have to get a tcu flashed, as it doesnt seem to love the 1-2 shift . fun as $hit though, feels about 50 hp stronger than the previous 91 tune, maybe less , maybe more. the car feels damn nasty , and i cant imagine how it will feel with injectors and e85 . i will most liekly be switching to e85 on the stock injectors shortly just to get into the e85 mode. i'll be interested to see what is stronger , 101 or e85 on the stock injectors .
