Have you looked at the Factory RS engine mounts? They play nice with the Bosch knock sensors.

No I haven't. How do they compare to the RSS (that seems to be the popular choice) in regard to harshness? Are they semi-solid too?

All if not most of the aftermarket mounts are patterned off or from the factory RS units.. The factory RS mounts are Vulcanized rubber and quiet. It's my recommendation. You have to get longer 130mm thru bolts to make them work. The 964 bolts are too short.

Thanks for the tips Kevin! Strange that not more people are using them, the price seems to be the same…

I'm running Rennline tuneable mounts on the medium bushings - they made a difference to the car, reducing the feeling of the engine shifting around during movement (car has 120k km on it). I'd buy them again.

Gert isn't a what, but a who He is the guy behind carnewal Which is one of the best places to get oem porsche parts...located in Belgium and very timely on shipping, great prices, very reputable. On the RS mounts...I really like that they tightened up the rear end and removed most of the weight transfer in the rear on faster turns. Usually I try just one mod at a time to understand the impact or trade off...but this time I deleted the PASM at the same time in anticipation of installing new MCS suspension. I cant wait to see how that feels, along with the mounts and GT2 SB. Not trying to turn the TT into a GT2, just something in between from a ride/performance standpoint. Although with Kevin's help...new turbos and ICs will be in the mix at some point in the future, but not the 5" cores with crazy HP turbos. I am not focused on straight line top speed, just trying unmask the somewhat hidden talent of the TT. BTW, Kevin brings up an important compatibility issue on AM mounts, my personal advice is to stay OEM. GL.
